Are you sure you want to Yes No. The staff are exceptionally friendly and a couple of them speak good English. My friend lost her iPod Touch and had to get a police report to claim insurance, and one of the staff went out of his way to come down to the police station to translate and give a statement!
Joy, one of the female staff members, speaks very good English and was very helpful in providing information about day trips. She also arranged a very cheap taxi transfer to the airport at the end of my stay. The location is great, the lake is about a 12 minute walk away and the night markets about a 7 minute walk. Rising Dragon Legend was closer to the city center at Hoan Kiem lake, so this hotel is better suited for trips around the railway and Tong Duy Tan food street. It is still easy to walk to the lake though. A large double bed, quality shower, great breakfast menu and friendly staff.
I really could not think of anything to be honest.

We have had an wonderful stay at the rising dragon estate. Except for the lovely staff that works here with special thanks to Jason and joy. The dragon rising hotel was very clean with great rooms and delightful beds. After waking up we where very surprised with the nice breakfast it was the best one that we had so far. And we are in Vietnam for some days now. If you stay in Hanoi u just should go there! The location is in the Centre, room was very clean and the stuffwas really helpful.
The breakfast is also very good. They couldn't provide me with more coffee sachets. Staff were all very friendly. They went out of there way to help us and even gave us a parting gift :D. The room had no window to the outside, only to the hallway. But as we only stayed one night, that didn't really matter.
Friendly staff and good location in the Old Town. Had to turn it off throughout the night as got too cold!
The staff were SO helpful and welcoming. They helped organise all of our tours and everything ran smoothly, would highly recommend. A good example of their incredible hospitality was when we were late for the train because of stand-still traffic, they picked us up on mopeds and ran us too the station so we were on time. Everything they recommended was amazing as well, we did a day tour to tam-coc and then a two night tour to Sapa.
Both were amazing with friendly tour guides and amazing scenery. They offer lots more like ha long bay cruises it is cheaper to book through them but we already booked online so I would recommend going through them as well as other day and night tours all around. The room was very small and not very comfortable. The window looked out onto a patio with all the air conditioners making a huge noise so it was impossible for us to sleep, even with earplugs. Location, very close to all city tourist spots. Overbooking the first night. We booked a Deluxe Room and were given a minuscule room with no window.

We were upgraded to a bigger room the second day, but still, moving room when you travel for work isn't fun. The hotel is well located, but that street is just very dirty like the whole of Hanoi actually The breakfast is limited to an omelette, french toast or cereals in milk, and if you come early fruit like watermelon and bananas.

The fruits will not be available if you come after 9. The rooms are modern The hotel is right next to Train Street The staff is fairly friendly and gave us a small souvenir upon check out, thank youuuuuu The wifi is good. There was nothing to dislike. The staff were excellent and so helpful, especially Joy and Mint. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed a week and worked our way through the breakfast menu which was included in the price and enjoyed everything.
The hotel is just across the road from where the train line runs within a metre of the cafes and it's a must do. This hotel is on the edge of the Old Quarter so it has the advantage of being close but not too noisy. Easy walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and all the shopping and cafes. Lots of small places close by to eat tasty, cheap Vietnamese food. It's not 5 star luxury but your not paying that price either. Would recommend a stay here if you want to see Hanoi. Friendly , clean, very comfortable and the breakfast was good, staff lovely. The AC and fridge were a bit noisy at night.
The staff gave us five star treatment from start to finish. Beds very comfy and room was spotless. The AC had the rooms perfectly cool. The staff were great, friendly, helpful and happy this was a comfortable safe and nice place to be, I highly recommend this property.
The location to what we wanted to do was fantastic. Small portions for breakfast, overcharging because of service fees, organisational failure - they upgraded our room for one night and somebody booked it, so they made us pack and move to a different room. High prices for laundry and transport services. The staff was very kind, they also have "the luggage boy". Breakfast was tasty fresh fruit , welcome drink - tea. Very clean rooms, well furnished, with rose petals which was a nice romantic touch. Good locations. TV with international channels, good working AC.
Staff were so friendly and responsive. We had a problem with our shower and they came straight away and fixed it. The room was spacious and the bed was soft and cozy. I would definitely stay again! Error: Please enter a valid email address.
